  1. 1. As Tesla begins activating the Cabin Camera in Model 3 and Model Y, do you plan to enable data sharing to help Tesla engineers further develop safety features and software enhancements? Note: Cabin Camera images are not associated with your VIN or any other identifying information.

You know you're a Minnesotan when you think Cabin Camera is a new Tesla feature for monitoring your place "Up North"!

 

In regards to data privacy and transparency - I believe it's a decision which is made at time of purchase. Simply owning the vehicle opens a very large portal into ones privacy.
