My vehicle tends to be in the "late majority" group, and I have preferences set to "Advanced" FWIW. Tesla software updates roll out in batched waves over days and weeks, depending on many factors. Sometimes when your car is on a special (testing?) release then you might not get updates at the same cadence as other owners. In that case, you usually need to wait and be patient for your turn. However, one time in past three years I asked Tesla via service in the app to push the update since my vehicle got "stuck" on an older version. That update then happened (via cellular) within a few days after my request.
